This direction of training is provided by the educational program “ELECTRICAL STATIONS”, which was founded in 1922 and is one of the most authoritative in NTUU “KPI”. During its existence, the department has trained more than 2,500 specialists, 150 of them – for 32 countries. Among the graduates of the department are ministers, academics, directors of energy companies, leading specialists in various fields of electricity. Among them: Minister of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine – Prodan Yu.V., Zgurovsky M.3. – former Minister of Education of Ukraine, academician, doctor of technical sciences, current rector of NTUU “KPI”; Chizhenko IM – Professor, laureate of awards, worked for many years as the head of the Department of TOE, Batalov AG – Deputy Director of NEC “Ukrenergo”, Director of UES of Ukraine – Chief Dispatcher Vitaly Zaichenko, Chief Engineer of the cascade of Kyiv HPP and PSP Oleg Urmanov, head of VTV branch .
