Description of the educational and professional program

Educational and professional program “Unconventional and renewable energy sources” for the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education in the specialty 141 “Electricity, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics” was developed in 2018 and put into effect by order of the Rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky ». Prior to the establishment of OPP, bachelors were trained for many years at the Department of Renewable Energy Sources in the direction of training 6.050701 “Electrical Engineering and Electrical Engineering” specialty “Non-traditional and renewable energy sources”.

The purpose of the educational program is to train specialists who are able to solve complex specialized problems and practical problems in the field of electricity and electrical engineering, which involves the application of theories and principles of electrical devices and electrical systems based on renewable energy sources
